How to use the visual music theory tools inside Listen Mode.
Inside your recording detail and Listen Mode, Larka offers a visual Circle of Fifths and a scale reference to help you understand your music's theory context.
The Circle of Fifths shows the relationship between all 12 musical keys. Your detected key is highlighted. Keys adjacent to yours share the most notes — great for finding related chords or modulating.
Use it to:
- Find chords that naturally fit your key
- Discover the relative minor/major of your key
- Plan key changes in your song
Tap the detected key/scale to open the Scale Info panel. It shows:
- All notes in the scale
- The diatonic chords (I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII) — every chord that naturally belongs to your key
- Common progressions built from those chords
