One tap to export a distribution-ready .zip: MP3, cover art, lyrics, and metadata.
When a song is ready to go out into the world, the Release Kit bundles everything a distributor or collaborator needs into a single .zip file — no hunting for the cover art or copy-pasting lyrics into a separate doc.
What's in the kit
Exporting a Release Kit produces a .zip containing:
- ·MP3 — the full-quality audio, with ID3 tags (title, artist, embedded cover) already written.
- ·Cover art — the song's artwork as a standalone image file.
- ·Lyrics — a text file with the song's lyrics.
- ·Metadata — a file with the title, artist name, genre, and other details, formatted for uploading to distribution platforms.
How to export
- Open the song in the full-screen player (from My Songs or the Home screen).
- Tap Release Kit (or Export).
- Larka assembles the .zip and opens the iOS share sheet.
- Save it to Files, AirDrop it to your computer, or send it straight to a distributor or collaborator.
Why it's useful
Distribution services (DistroKit, TuneCore, and the like) and most collaborators expect the audio, artwork, and track details together. The Release Kit gives you all of it in the exact shape they ask for, so publishing a Larka song is a copy-and-upload rather than a scavenger hunt.
