A guide to your Larka dashboard — recent songs, quick tools, and how to navigate the app.
The Home screen is your creative dashboard. Everything you've been working on is here — recent recordings, generated songs, and one-tap shortcuts to every tool in the app.
The large card at the top takes you straight to the Record tab. Tap it to start capturing a new idea immediately. The animated mic and waveform show that Larka is ready to listen.
Three cards below the hero give you quick access to the three core modes:
Record — go to the recording screen
Create — go to Notes & AI music generation
Listen — open Listen Mode for real-time chord detection
Directly below the feature cards, a gradient card with a NEW badge opens the Cover a Song flow. Tap it to restyle any audio — pick a saved recording from your library or upload a song file from Files/iCloud. Our AI engine then generates a new arrangement in whatever genre you choose.
A compact row of shortcuts: Notes, Tuner, Metronome, and Hum to Song. Tap any to jump straight there — Hum to Song takes you to the Record tab where you can capture a melody and generate a full track from it.
Your five most recent AI-generated songs appear here with their cover art, from both Notes and Hum-to-Song / Cover flows. Each row shows a source tag ("Note" or "Hum to Song") and a relative timestamp ("2h ago") so you can tell where it came from and when it was made. Tap a row to open the full player — playback supports lock-screen controls and AirPlay. Tap See All to browse everything.
Your five most recent recordings are listed with their detected key, BPM, and duration. Recordings that have one or more AI-generated songs attached get a bright ♪ Song pill on their row so you can spot them. Tap any row to open the full recording detail, where you can generate more songs or pick from Saved Tracks. Tap See All to search and browse your entire library.
