The full workflow: record an idea, create a note, add lyrics, and generate a song.
Larka is designed around a natural creative flow: you capture a raw idea, develop it into something structured, and then let AI bring it to life as audio. Here's the full path from spark to song.
Go to Record and capture your idea. Play a chord progression, hum a melody, or sing improvised words. Larka detects the key, scale, and BPM automatically.
From the recording detail, tap Create Note. A new Songwriter Note opens pre-filled with your detected key, scale, and BPM. If you spoke or sang words, tap Transcribe to extract them into the note body.
Now develop your idea in the note:
- Edit or expand the transcribed words into proper lyrics
- Use Write with AI to generate a full verse or chorus
- Set genre, mood, instruments, and vocal style
- Add tags to give the AI extra context
Tap Generate AI Music. Choose 30s Clip to preview quickly, or Full Song for a complete track. Type a target length if you have one in mind (e.g. "2 minutes").
Each generation is saved as a version of your note. Generate multiple versions to explore different directions.
Once you have a version you love:
- Tap Generate Cover Art to create artwork for the track
- Tap the share icon in the player to export the audio
- Name the version so you remember what made it special
